T400 fiber features a unique helical crimp structure, giving it an elasticity that is 2 to 5 times that of ordinary PET filaments. Even after 500 repeated stretching cycles, its elastic recovery rate remains above 95%. Under normal wearing conditions, T400 fabric can achieve 20% to 30% elongation and quickly return to its original shape after stretching, effectively preventing baggy deformation at areas such as the knees and elbows.
Unlike traditional spandex fabrics, T400 contains no spandex components. This fundamentally avoids the aging issues associated with spandex during use, while also solving common problems such as dyeing difficulties and dimensional instability.
The unique grooved cross-sectional structure of T400 fiber endows the fabric with excellent moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties, as well as a smooth, soft hand feel. The fabric is soft yet crisp, with good drape, a flat surface, and strong wrinkle resistance. It remains smooth in appearance even after repeated wear and laundering.
Our T400 fabric can meet EN standards or customer-specified requirements for the workwear and outdoor apparel industry.
